To gain clarity, we consider what we would like to attract into our lives and embody those intentions in our artwork. Focusing on goals and setting positive intentions can inspire us to take action on the things that are important to us. Let your creativity flow, there are no rules and no experience required.
ABOUT MEGHAN BUDD
Meghan Budd is a creative educator who inspires people to connect to self-expression and creativity. She promotes well-being through visual art, believing that creativity is a way to feel connected with ourselves and others. Through explorations with art materials, Meghan guides her students to follow intuition and go with the flow while creating. In her workshops, the focus is on process rather than product, allowing students to become more open to possibilities. Arts-based processes support people in mindfully connecting to the present moment, through the sensory system.
Meghan has a Bachelor of Media Arts from Emily Carr University and a Bachelor of Education from the University of British Columbia. Her artist practice includes training and experience in photography, media arts, fine arts and education. Integrating her passion for creativity with a love of teaching, Meghan has worked with people of all ages. She passionately teaches mindful art practice at yoga and wellness retreats as well as many other community workshops.
I am passionate about cultivating creativity, curiosity, and connection through my art classes. My workshops provide a fun and welcoming space where participants create freely and joyfully, learning as they play. Students engage in art making and enjoy the freedom to explore. I empower people of all ages to follow their intuition and immerse in the experience of creating, with little emphasis on the end result. Your journey in life and art is uniquely yours. Open your heart to self-expression and connect to creativity.
