OUR NEXT PREDTALK: ‘CONNECTING WITH NATURE THROUGH EDUCATION'

More than a site perched above Commanage Road, the Allan Brooks Nature Centre is a gateway for children to step away from screens and have hands-on experiences with the natural world. This PredTalk offers a firsthand look at the magic of nature-based learning, both in the classroom and at the Centre.

With a strong focus on environmental education and stewardship of our grasslands, the Centre plays an important role in shaping how future generations understand and care for the world around them. You’ll leave this PREDTalk with a deeper appreciation for the organization and its impact within our community.

WHAT WILL YOU DISCOVER?

Nature-Based Learning in Action: Experience how hands-on, outdoor education helps children connect with the natural world, both in the classroom and at the Allan Brooks Nature Centre.

Environmental Stewardship in Our Community: Learn how the Centre supports the protection and understanding of our local grasslands through education and engagement.

The Impact of the Allan Brooks Nature Centre: Gain a deeper appreciation for the role the Centre plays in shaping environmental awareness and inspiring future generations.

The session will be followed by a Q and A session to ensure all your questions are answered.
