What does it feel like to trek 800 km on Nepal’s Great Himalaya Trail at the age of 77?
Find out in this inspirational, honest and humorous presentation by journalist, author, adventure traveller, and humanitarian Patti Shales Lefkos. Through stunning visuals and heartfelt storytelling, Patti takes us along on her latest journey through Nepal's remote trails - showing us what it means to redefine connection, love, and personal resilience in the later years of life.
Patti and her husband Barry Hodgins began their Nepal trekking adventures after retirement, proving it’s never too late to leap out of your comfort zone. Her life-changing solo volunteer trek in 2014 inspired her first book and the creation of her non-profit, both titled Nepal One Day at a Time. Patti’s upcoming book, Nepal: It’s Never Too Late, chronicles her 800 km journey at age 77, with all proceeds supporting education and homebuilding efforts in Nepal.
